The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurtik, gave an interview to the BBC, where he talked about the tensions in the north of Kosovo. Kurti says that the mayors are in their buildings and offices and will not leave there.
"In these three municipalities we have three municipal facilities and if not the mayors, who should be there. And if these municipalities are not for the mayors, what are they for? The presidents are in their offices, that's how it should be and stay. They are illegal structures influenced by Belgrade that want to destabilize our country. We want a democratic republic, and in these facilities we can reduce the number of police, but first the gangs that have attacked journalists, the police and KFOR must go to Serbia or to prison," said Kurti, Nacionale reports.
Here the journalist intervened and asked him if this means that he is not ready for compromise.
"I cannot compromise with the democratic republic, being the prime minister of the most democratic republic in the Balkans. Vucic is autocratic. "Serbia does not allow Serbs in Kosovo to have more than one party," he said.
"I have a Serbian minister, Nenad Rasic, who is not in the Serbian List, but is hated by the Serbian List," said Kurti.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo said that he will not allow Kosovo to be damaged and that it fall into the hands of the fascist militia.
"We consider America and the EU, the Western world, as indisputable partners. But we cannot allow the democratic republic to fall into the hands of the fascist militia led by Milosevic's propaganda minister. They have not distanced themselves from Milosevic, they have not distanced themselves from Putin, Serbia is the only one that has not imposed sanctions on Russia. Some may complicate things, but the situation is simple", declared Albin Kurti.
