Kristjan Asllani commented after the friendly match where Albania was defeated 0-1 by Israel at the "Air Albania" stadium, emphasizing that the team gave its best, although the result was not in favor of the red and blacks.
" It was a positive match. The coach is very clear and requires high pressing and aggression. There were difficulties in the first half, because they played with two midfielders and Ramadan and I were few, but in the second half we almost made it 1 against 1. We are sorry for the goal we conceded, because I believe we played well ," Asllani said for "SuperSport".
The midfielder added that the choices for the formation are the coach's, but all the players are ready to give their best, adding that the final challenges after a long season are always difficult.
" Now our focus is on the friendly with Luxembourg. We have all trained well and we expect to give our best on the pitch ," he said.
Asllani also spoke about his future at club level: " I don't know yet. Besiktas has the right to buy until June 15. I've settled in very well there, I've played all the games and I hope to stay. But I can't say anything for sure at the moment ."
