Marash Kumbulla, who is currently on loan at Espanyol from Roma, is having one of the best moments of his career. The red-and-black defender is also preparing for the qualifying challenges with the national team. Before these important matches for Albania, Kumbulla spoke in an interview with the media.
" What does it mean to you to play for Albania? When I chose it I received a lot of affection, in Albania patriotism is strong. My father came to Italy about 30 years ago and settled in Peschiera.
Then my mother and my brothers arrived. From bricklayers they opened a construction company and a restaurant. We grew up here and are all proud of our path.
"A thought on Kristjan Asllani? I've never seen a player like him who shoots with both feet and you don't notice the difference. Asllani just needs to grow further and earn Inter's trust ," says Kumbulla.
