Barcelona and its fans are eagerly awaiting Sunday's "El Clasico" against Real Madrid, a challenge that could give the Catalan team the championship title against its eternal rival.
A win in this match would have a special historical significance, as Barcelona have never before secured the title in an “El Clasico” against the Madrid team. Even a draw would be enough to bring a festive evening closer for the Catalans.
Interest in the match is high, with the club expecting to generate significant revenue from ticket sales. This will also be the first El Clasico to be held at the Camp Nou in three years.
According to the "Barça Reservat" show on Catalunya Ràdio, ticket revenue is expected to range between 13 and 15 million euros, a record figure for the stadium currently undergoing renovation.
Despite the works, Camp Nou currently has a capacity of around 62,000 spectators. After the completion of the reconstruction, the stadium is expected to reach a capacity of 105,000 seats, becoming one of the largest facilities in Europe.
