American broadcaster Fox Sports has published one of the most unusual job advertisements in the world of sports, offering the position of "Chief World Cup Match Observer".
The main task of the person to be selected is to watch the 104 World Cup matches from a glass cube located in the heart of Times Square, in New York, in front of thousands of visitors and fans.
"Fox Sports" has promoted this opportunity as a "dream job," while the winning candidate will be paid $50,000, or about 42,500 euros, to carry out this unique sports experience.
According to the announcement, the selected person will start work on June 6 and, in addition to following the matches, will have to create content for the American sports channel's social networks, filming experiences and reactions during the tournament.
"Fox Sports" has also announced that famous personalities, public figures and sports legends are expected to visit and watch matches in the glass cube.
