Journalist Eni Ferhati reported that former Prisons Director Agim Ismailaj was officially indicted today by SPAK in connection with the hacking case of SPAK prosecutors' emails.
Ferhati indicated that Ismailiaj, along with the other two defendants, are accused of being part of a criminal group within which the email codes of two SPAK prosecutors were broken. It is reported that two materials were obtained from their emails that were then distributed to people with political power, which according to him creates the impression that the interest was political.
" This group of people who, due to some not very strong passwords of SPAK prosecutors' emails, were able to interfere in the emails of two prosecutors, have taken some materials there. Duman's email was not touched, it was attempted but was not touched. 2 of the prosecutors had 2 materials taken from them and these were distributed to some people with political power and in the administration with a strange connection but which creates the impression that they had a political interest. I think the interest was political, very high-ranking officials have received this information ," Ferhati said on the 'Now' show on Euronews Albania.
