The blockage of the Trianë-Durrës highway has created kilometers of traffic on the secondary road. The authorities remembered to intervene to fill the potholes on this axis and as a result, traffic has been diverted to the secondary road Vorë-Maminas.
Citizens have been stuck in traffic for hours and the police have been slow to react. But it seems the mockery continues, as they ask citizens to be patient.
" Due to the temporary closure of the Tirana-Durres highway, for work reasons, announced on 10.10.2025, by the Albanian Road Authority, heavy traffic has been created in several areas within the capital, as well as at its entrance and exit.
Traffic Police Services and General Patrols are located at every intersection and main road segment, with the aim of managing and facilitating traffic.
"Tirana Police appeals to drivers to show patience, respect road signs and instructions from Police officers, and use alternative routes to avoid traffic delays ," the police said.
