Pano Soko stated that the entire scheme was created to avoid paying taxes, while Bregu mentioned Gjergji Taho as a person connected to the scandal.
Pano Soko: Every company goes and registers within the free economic zone where it gets its facilities, it operates as an offshore type, the taxes it pays are registered in that country, it pays a tax reduction, it can even be zero.
You give them fiscal facilities, but you have to go there, it has to be a building, it has to have all the conditions, it has to be fenced, closed, have clearly defined boundaries. What did they do? After they took all the money from AKSHI and in turn, they had a big problem. How do we pay taxes? They wanted not to pay taxes for tenders, for AKSHI and all the companies. These were registered with Durana, not to pay taxes. Basically, that park should be there.
If you go there, it's a meadow, there's nothing. We know the companies that have their residence in Tirana. All of this was a scheme built by the masters of AKSHI, so that they wouldn't even pay taxes on the money. That's how they ended up here. You have the list of companies, most of them are either connected to the government that receive tenders, or people who have served people connected to the government.
