Journalist Ridvan Berisha spoke about the course taken by the story of the murder of Liridona after the publication of the testimonies of Naim Murseli, Kushtrim Kokalla and Granit Plava.
The journalist emphasized that Bexhet Pacolli or other political figures of Kosovo had no hand in this event and that Murseli used his influence to present his greatness and hide the tyranny of a cold criminal that characterized him.
The biggest problem in this story, Berisha points out, is that the motive has not yet been found.
Shocking evidence has been published in the Kosovo media directly implicating Naim Murseli, but on the other hand, contradictory statements by Naim's father, Shaban Murseli, have also been noticed.
The prosecution must be transparent as soon as possible with the results of the investigations. The first testimonies have been broadcast. Naim Murseli and the other two persons also gave other testimonies. The evidence given so far points to only one thing, a well-conceived plan to kill Lyridona.
So we are not only dealing with a crime of passion?
Based on the evidence, the judicial system can weigh their veracity. However, from what has come out publicly, it seems that the anger of these animal beings at the loss of Lyridona's life has its roots in a long period of time. A year or maybe more. There are inconsistencies in their statements. The questions put to them by the investigators were not strong and detailed to extract detail after detail. Perhaps in the next interviews they will complete that mosaic in the scheme of suspicion that today lacks motive.
The motive is not yet known. We have contradictory statements from one and the other. He told me, he did, that he did. I was with this, I was with that. There is a discrepancy between the first statements and the second and third statements. I don't know how long the accused will be able to resist. But I know that no leader has a hand so far in the plan to kill Liridona. Not even Mr. Pacolli, despite the fact that Naim Murseli was his adviser and I said earlier that he used the influence with Mr. Pacolli, the photographs with Mr. Rama, the photographs with various politicians to present his greatness and hide the tyranny of a the cold criminal that characterized him.
It was discussed about extramarital affairs, betrayal, statements. Naim Murseli promised the killer that 'even if you go to prison, I have enough power to get you out'. On the other hand, there was also a loan that he had received in the name of Kushtrim Kokalla.
The biggest problem is that the motive has not yet been found. I think the prosecution and specialists should be more involved in that task force to put the mosaic together. They put those parts together, put them in analysis and criminal aspect machines and formulate the motive why the event happened.
