
Security, dialogue with Serbia and NATO's role in Kosovo were also discussed in Paris.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, where he requested France's support for integration processes and economic cooperation.
"I asked President Macron for France's support on our path towards integration into the EU and international organizations and the deepening of economic cooperation through the organization of new Kosovo-France business forums," Kurti said.
He announced that during the meeting, several important issues related to the international presence and engagement in Kosovo were addressed.
" For about two hours we discussed the important and continuing role of NATO in Kosovo, the engagement of European Union missions, as well as the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to full harmonization with the EU's foreign and security policy ," he said.
The meeting also addressed topics related to security and the dialogue process with Serbia.
" Also, at the meeting I raised issues of security, strengthening our defense capacities, dialogue with Serbia, and the implementation of the agreement for full normalization ," Kurti declared.
Finally, he thanked the French president for the reception and support given to Kosovo.
