Israel's Home Front Command has announced that restrictions on citizens' daily activities will be significantly eased starting Thursday, after several days of high tensions due to missile attacks from Iran.
Under the new decision, larger public gatherings will be permitted and citizens can return to their workplaces, which had been suspended since last Saturday morning as part of emergency protection measures. This change comes after an assessment of the situation by the Israeli military.
However, educational activities, including schools and educational institutions, remain prohibited for the time being, as a safety precaution.
This easing is seen as a clear indication that Israel believes the threat from Iran has significantly diminished. According to military data, the vast majority of ballistic missiles launched towards Israeli territory have been successfully intercepted by air defense systems, while the number and intensity of missile launches has significantly decreased day by day.
Israeli officials have stressed that the new measures aim to strike a balance between public safety and the need to gradually revive economic and social life.
The Home Front Command has called on citizens to continue to respect security instructions and stay near protected areas whenever necessary.
