Opposition leader Sali Berisha has left the Democratic Party headquarters and, together with supporters waiting for him outside, has set off towards the Prime Minister's Office building. As in previous national protests, Berisha and his supporters are walking the route from the DP headquarters to the Prime Minister's Office where the rally will be held.
Upon Berisha's arrival in front of the Prime Minister's Office, the speeches of the opposition representatives are expected to begin, which will culminate with the speech of the opposition leader. The media has reported that today, just like the two previous protests, there is expected to be violence. Unlike the first two rallies, the Police have not given permission to the Opposition to hold the protest.
We recall that the last rally escalated, with opposition protesters throwing stones, firebombs, and Molotov cocktails at the Prime Minister's Office and Parliament buildings. On the other hand, the police responded with tear gas to disperse the protesters.
