Former Prime Minister Berisha responded to Rama's statements, who denied his accusations saying that he and his family have not benefited from any public funds.
Berisha considered his statements as frauds, as he published data that, according to him, show that the prime minister's stepmother and other family members benefited from 2.9 billion lek tenders.
"As you probably followed, Edi Rama in his last public appearance where he was trembling, voice, eyes and body did everything to apologize for his crimes. In the most irresponsible way, he denied accusations which are not political statements, but are facts based on official documents with a signature and seal. One of these irresponsible denials was his statement that no one from his family has ever won public funds, while state records prove otherwise. They prove that the daughter of the family is an unrestrained beneficiary of public funds through the tenders where she works and she cooperates.
The eyes betray him...
This is a public fraud, and this is legally punishable, as official documents prove that the stepmother has repeatedly benefited from several companies.
The daughter of the Rama family has benefited through 51N4E companies. This studio has its branch in Albania and employs Rea and Genti Agolli, the president of letters.
They have benefited from 2.9 billion tenders," said Berisha during a conference with journalists.
