Prime Minister Edi Rama, at a press conference at the end of the informal two-day government meeting in Shengjin, was asked about the merger of the Ministry of Culture and the former minister, Elva Margariti, about which he did not say a word after her dismissal.
Regarding this, Rama tried to justify that the new Ministry was not created to dismiss Margariti, but, according to him, to create a new structure beyond the traditional boundaries.
" The new ministry was not created to remove Margariti, but to create a new structure. The reasons are elaborated in the president's report and it is about the need to move faster by breaking the traditional boundaries at a time when our economy, the institutional sector that covers the economy needs a new strong impetus. As there are a number of challenges that require attention and Innovation requires leadership and direct orientation that no one else can do at this stage, only the Ministry of Economy ", said Rama.
