The leader of Albania Becomes, Adriatik Lapaj, stated that he has made many references to SPAK regarding the May 11 elections.
He stated that the May 11 elections were an electoral massacre and that the current system made it impossible for them to receive more mandates.
"We have made many referrals to SPAK, to internationals... We have brought facts that money is being distributed or flour is being distributed. It was a massacre, I do not deny this. If we had cracked the system with 300 thousand votes, today Albania would be energized because it would be ready for early elections that would bring democracy back to life. Today Albania is in its fourth mandate. As long as I am on this path, I will try to inspire them with my model as much as I can. Maybe the time has not come for our ideas. Mr. Berisha said that they are Edi Rama's crutch, but today I am not with Rama", Lapaj said on "A2 CNN".
Regarding Berisha's accusations that he called Rama's crutch, Lapaj said that this is not true and that he did not attack the opposition even during the campaign.
" I did not deal with the opposition, but they dealt with us. The prime minister of the country came out and attached me to Mr. Berisha. Why, I made the agreements with Mr. Berisha? We have the largest mandate in the history of Albania. There has never been a mandate with 64,268 votes. When that mandate speaks in Parliament, think of a stadium with 64,268 people ," Lapaj added.
