The murder of Liridona Ademaj is still in question, while the main suspect as the person who ordered the murder, her husband, has changed his testimony again.
Naim Murseli testified today before the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina.
His lawyer, Teuta Zhinipotoku, says that Murseli has denied all the testimony he had previously given to the police and has also rejected all reports that there was a tense relationship between the couple due to treason.
"Today, his statement at the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Prishtina has ended, which has completely denied the version given during the police interview. The information that has been published regarding the tense relations between the spouses regarding their fidelity, the defendant has completely denied. The prosecution continues with the collection of further evidence", said Zhinipotoku.
That is why the detention period for Naim Murseli and the other detainees in the case has been postponed by two months from December 2023.
The Basic Prosecutor's Office of Pristina only announces that the investigations are continuing intensively without providing further details.
"Regarding the case in question, intensive investigations are underway, so at this stage we cannot provide other information due to the preservation of the integrity of the investigative process", says the reaction of the Prosecutor's Office.
Liridona Ademaj was killed on the evening of November 29 and so far three people have been arrested for her murder.
Her murder was allegedly ordered by her husband, Naim Murseli, with whom Liridona had two children.
The murder is suspected to have been committed by Granit Plava, after Murseli had promised him 30,000 euros. The suspect is Mursel's nephew, Kushtrim Kokalla, who was a member of the KSF and who probably found the weapon with which the crime was committed.
Meanwhile, on December 9, another person was arrested for this case. The fourth suspect is TD, from Novosela in Gjakova.
The motive of the murder is still unknown.
