Albanian national team striker, Jasir Asani, is currently training with Partizan, while awaiting a solution to his contractual situation with Iranian club Esteghlal.
According to FIFA rules, the player cannot currently play for Partizan or any other team, as he is still under contract with the Iranian club. The situation remains unclear due to the interruption of the Iranian championship.
However, there is a possibility that, if the war situation in Iran continues and football activity remains suspended, FIFA will grant special permission for some foreign players to temporarily leave their clubs. In this case, Yasir Asani and Regi Luskja are included.
Even if Asani receives approval to leave Esteghlal, it is not certain that he will stay at Partizan. Media in South Korea report that there have been contacts about a possible return of him to that championship.
The Albanian footballer is well-versed in South Korean football, having previously distinguished himself with the Guangju team. Among the previously mentioned options for his future, a possible move to the Japanese championship has also been rumored.
