As Israel's bombardment of Gaza continues, a young Palestinian couple decided to get married yesterday at a school in Rafah, southern Gaza, where they were sheltering in an attempt to escape the attacks.
Muhammad and Yasmine Abdel-Al are from Gaza City, but, like almost a million other Palestinians, they have evacuated seeking safety.
Relatives wrote messages of support for the newlyweds on a blackboard as the couple tied the knot in a simple ceremony at the educational institution that now serves as a haven for many people.
