After meeting Enkelejd Alibejn and Damian Gjiknur yesterday, the acting head of the OSCE in Albania, Clarisse Pasztory, will meet today the head of the DP group Gazmend Bardhi.
It is reported that the meeting will take place at 14:00 at the Presidency of the Assembly.
After the meeting with Alibeaj and Gjiknuri, Pasztory expressed that he welcomes the decision for the commission to start work on Friday, as he states that the OSCE will assist in the amendment of the Electoral Code. But it also sent a message that the reform should be comprehensive.
"I met with the co-chairs of the special commission for electoral reform, Damian Gjiknuri and Enkelejd Alibeaj. I welcome the resumption of substantive work on Friday and its acceleration in the coming weeks, with assistance and expertise from the OSCE Presence in Albania and OSCE/ODIHR. We will continue the comprehensive meetings for this important reform in the following days", said the ambassador.
